ABSTRACT

Looking at an abstract painting is likened to listening to a piece of music. The series of abstract paintings is influenced by music and translates it with color and rhythm onto the paper substrate: happenings between spots of color, transparencies, shades, splashes of color and engravings. These rhythms of color and shape come together, in compositions of contrasts, sometimes dramatic and sometimes lyrical in free painting. The works contain moments of silence and storm.
